Measured value dependend accuracy
The aim here is to get the accuracy of each sensor and in connection to that,
the possible dependencie to the measured value.
Pictured is the setup of this assessment for the distance measuring sensors.
The aim surface can slide from 0 m to 5 m.
Here are the results for the accuracy for the different sensors
Warm-up time
This is about getting the minimal count of single measurements, so that
the average value ist near the optimum of the sensor.
With an iterating average this can be evaluated.
Pictured is the deviation of the iterating average to the entire average.
With the regression it is possible to calculate the warm-up time, despite the variations
of the raw data.
long duration measurment
With this assessment the stability of the measurements over a longer period of time is evaluated.
This is the measurement of the HCSR04 over a period of 50 days.
The measuremants with the Honeywell sensor lasted for 6 days.
A dependency on the temperature can be observed.
Stability on rough water surface
In this assessment several wave intensities were simulated and measured by the sensors.
